HSR Hot Springs Airport Code postcard
Inspired by the golden age of passenger air travel, this postcard is reminiscent of a luggage tag from the 1940s and 1950s. The letters HSR are the FAA-assigned location code for Hot Springs, South Dakota airport. The card includes interesting facts about the Fall River County town's intermittent passenger service from Western Airlines and Frontier Airlines. Located in the southern Black Hills, the natural springs were said to have healing properties and drew tourists both by horse, car, rail, and air for many years.
This 6"x4" postcard is made of one-side-coated paper for a brilliant image, and an uncoated reverse side for easy writing. It was designed and printed in South Dakota.
